Wishlists for individuals and classrooms

Sandi is 27 year teaching veteran! She has been with Assumption Schools for 21 years and is currently a 3rd and 4th grade math and science teacher at BLP. She previously taught for St. Mary Schools, too, and has taught grades 1 through 4 throughout her career. She holds a Bachelor's from Nicholls State. Sandi is a wonderful example of how much of an impact one teacher can make on so many kids' lives. In Sandi's words, "I have been teaching for almost 27 years and still enjoy helping students achieve their best!" APS is lucky to have Sandi on the team!

Taylor has been made a home at BLP for 9 years and has spent her entire teaching moments with the students she adores there. She holds a Bachelor's Degree and is certified in Birth-5YRS from Nicholls State and will graduate with a Master's Degree from LSU later this year. In Taylor's words, "Being a teacher is being asked to do the impossible year after year and the only solution is to show up every day and try our best" Taylor definitely shows up for her students and colleagues and is a bright light for BLP and APS.

Jennifer is currently a 3rd and 4th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher and has been with APS for 6 years! She previously taught all 1st subjects at St. Bernadette in Houma and St. Matthew the Apostle in River Ridge and has been teaching for a total of 18 years! She holds a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor's Degree in teaching from UNO, and a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from LSU. Jennifer is one of the most enthusiastic teachers you'll meet and her students love her!
