Haley has been with APS for 5 years and is currently a paraprofessional in a teacher's role and is teaching 8th grade English! She has also served as a paraprofessional with Belle Rose Primary Head Start and with the AAP helping with virtual schooling. She holds an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice from Fletcher Technical and Community College, is currently working on her teaching certification from Grand Canyon University while maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and will graduate in October 2024! We're so excited for Haley and we look forward to having her with APS for many years to come! In Haley's words, " Teaching has always been my passion. I enjoy watching students grow and understand new concepts."
Bree is a currently a Special Education Teacher and has previously taught English and Math Tier 1 and 2 Interventions, 4th grade Social Studies and ELA, SPED Self Contained, and is a Special Education and Inclusion Teacher. Bree has been an educator for 6 years and previously taught in both Terrebonne and St. Mary Parishes. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and is a Certified Teacher through Alternate Certification. She is also currently furthering her studies. She is a mother of two twin little boys and a little girl and is using her list to stock her room with items to make learning fun and engaging for her students. brdaigle@assumptionschools.com
Brittany is currently in her second year as a 5th grade ELA Teacher and is one of the newest and brightest members of the teaching team! Brittany holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with three minors in English, Literary Studies, and Humanities. From Brittany - " I searched for a way to mix my passions and career, and that led me to being an English teacher. I love being able to explore creativity through the minds of our young generation, and teaching them to be confident in themselves and their skills. In my first year, I learned just as much as I taught, and I am so excited to continue my journey in the classroom."
Sabrina is currently a 6th grade ELA teacher at LMS and has been with Assumption Parish Schools for 9 years! Prior to her current role, she was a paraprofessional at LPS and NMS, an ELL paraprofessional at AHS, and a SPED educator and a 6th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher at BRM. She holds a bachelors degree in elementary education and special education. Sabrina's mantra is "Helping to make a difference to our students and community one day at a time."
