Wishlists for individuals and classrooms

Karen is currently a 4th grade Math and Science teacher at LPS and also has extensive experience as an almost 30 year educator. She comes to APS after an almost 29 year teaching career, most of that time spent in Jefferson Parish Schools, and a short time in the Gulfport, MS School District. Throughout her career, she has taught most every subject in grades 1st-5th along with being a Master Teacher, Title 1 Resource Teacher, and a Special Education Teacher. She holds a Bachelor's in General Studies from Nicholls, an alternative teaching certificate from the University of New Orleans and is certified through NIET as a Mentor Teacher and Master Teacher. We are excited to have Karen as part of the APS family and thank her for lending her years of experience and knowledge to the teaching team at LPS. Show Karen some love!
