Wishlists for individuals and classrooms

Beth is a 24 year veteran of Assumption Parish Schools and is a Special Education Teacher for grades 5-8. She is currently working on her Master's Degree and is a sponsor for the NMS Junior Beta Club. Before becoming a teacher, she was a paraprofessional for Assumption Parish Schools for almost 20 years! Beth's love and connections with her students enrich their lives and educational journey each day and she is an inspiration to many others in the parish and in education.

Brittney is currently an 8th grade ELA teacher at NMS and the drama club sponsor/director extraordinaire for the NMS Drama Club. Brittney has been teaching for 6 years and has also been a paraprofessional at MAX Charter School and a 3rd grade ELA/SC teacher at LPS. Brittney holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from Nicholls State, an alternative teacher certification through iTeach, and is currently working on her Masters in Educational Technology Leadership at Nicholls State. She also holds a degree in Practical Nursing from Louisiana Technical College. In Brittney's words, " Everyday is an opportunity to make a child feel loved and valued." She also enjoys this quote:

Jennifer is currently a 5th and 6th grade Science Teacher and has been teaching for 18 years! She is also currently the head BETA club sponsor, cheer sponsor, and a member of the PBS team at NMS! Before this role, she was a 2nd grade Reading Teacher and a 4th grade Science, Social Studies, and ELA Teacher at Belle Rose Primary. Her dedication to her students and her support and celebration of her fellow teachers is incredible and she is a great asset to the future of our students' success!

Ben is finishing his first year of teaching at NMS! He is a 7th and 8th grade Social Studies Teacher. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Nicholls State and is currently  enrolled in the iTeach Alternative Certification Program to obtain his teaching cert. Ben is a wonderful volleyball coach and enjoys coaching his travel teams to victory! We hope to see Ben continue to grow within APS and make NMS his home for many years to come!
