Wishlists for individuals and classrooms

Ashley is the currently the secretary for PPES! As you know, secretaries really run our schools! We're so happy to have Ashley as a important part of the team. Ashley does a great job in keeping every informed of what's going on at PPES and is the first smiling face you see when visiting campus. She has been with APS for nine years, 7 years at PPES and 2 years at BRM. We're so happy Ashley calls APS home and we hope to see her for years to come!

Jennifer has been with Assumption Parish Schools for 18 years (!) and is currently a 1st Grade Math and Social Living teacher at PPES. Her first year teaching was at BLP and she has spent the past 17 years at PPES. She is a well rounded and experienced teacher that has taught kindergarten and 2nd grade ELA, Math and Social Living. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a teaching certificate from Nicholls State. Jennifer is an enthusiastic and respected educator who also volunteers her time in the community and provides the best educational environment possible for her students. Show Jennifer some love!

Jenni is a new teacher with APS, but not new to teaching! This year (2023-2024) she is a 5th-8th grade SPED teacher, but will be moving to teaching 4th grade ELA next year also at PPES. She previously 2nd grade math and social studies and 3rd grade math and science in St. Mary Parish for 3 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Birth-5YRS and an Associate of Science in Child Development and Pre-School Management, both from Nicholls State. In Jenni's words, " I attended PPES Pre-K through 8th grade as a child. I was inspired by many fantastic educators to become a teacher myself. I started my career in a neighboring parish, but it feels so good to be HOME - Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog!"

Alaina is one of the newest additions to the APS teaching family! She is currently finishing her first full year of teaching (2023-2024) and is currently a 5th and 6th grade Social Studies teacher. She was previously a 4th-8th grade SPED teacher. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education and just finished her Master's Degree, too! APS is lucky to have Alaina on the team and her praises are being sung already!

Emma is the music teacher extraordinaire at Pierre Part Elementary and Belle Rose Middle School! She currently teaches 4th-8th grade at PPE and 5th-8th grade at BRM, along with supporting the music programs at AHS. She has been a bright light for music and the arts in APS and is celebrated here and throughout the region as an incredible teacher and advocate for her students. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education and is an excellent musician in her own right.

Tiffany is one of the newest in the APS and PPES teaching family! The 2023-2024 school year was her first and she is a 3rd grade social studies and 4th grade math teacher! She is already making a mark in Pierre Part and her students and APS are lucky to have an enthusiastic new teacher to help our students soar! Tiffany holds a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Special Education from Grand Canyon University. In her words, "Not everyday is easy, but every single day is worth it." We're happy to see Tiffany grow and make every day count with APS!

Sybil is 5th-8th grade Special Education Paraprofessional at PPES and has been with APS for 10 years! She provides love and care to some of our most loved and in need students every day and does a great job in helping our teachers to provide the best education possible!
